It's just been a couple of days since the release of NBA 2K21, and unsurprisingly, a fair amount of users have already raised their concerns about the game. One such gamer is none other than 2K21 cover athlete himself, Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers.

Lillard took to Twitter to complain about the game's new and improved shot meter function, which Lillard hasn't exactly gotten the hang of it just yet:

Lillard may be one of the best players in the NBA right now, but even he is struggling with this year's edition of the NBA 2K series. To make matters worse, the Blazers superstar hasn't even made a single free-throw in the game yet, which speaks volumes of just how complicated the shot meter has evolved into in 2K21.

Now that he's officially on vacation, Lillard has some free time on his hands. The Blazers suffered a first-round exit in the playoffs, courtesy of the top-seeded Los Angeles Lakers.

Portland actually won the first game of that series, which led more than a few folks to believe that the Blazers could actually pull off an upset against the mighty Lakers. In the end, however, Lillard and company were just overmatched by a powerhouse LA side, and ended up losing four straight games in the series.

Despite their early exit, however, this takes little away from Damian Lillard's superb play since the restart. He was the best player inside the Disney World campus, as he led the Blazers to a furious run to claim the final spot in the West. Lillard was awarded as the bubble MVP, and few if any, would say that he did not deserve every bit of that honor.
