Denver Broncos rookie outside linebacker Bradley Chubb has quickly proven that he is a rising star in the NFL through the first 13 games of the 2018 season behind his elite level of production.

Chubb has proven that once again after piling up a pair of sacks against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday afternoon that has pushed him into Broncos' record books past Pro Bowl outside linebacker Von Miller for the rookie mark for sacks in a single season. Following the game, the 22-year-old voiced much appreciation for setting that mark but has kept his focus on pushing the team forward toward competing for the playoffs, according to Mike Kis of 9News.

“It’s not something that was my goal,’’ Chubb said. “I just wanted to make an impact as fast as I could. To do something like that is a blessing, but it’s not something I can celebrate today. We’ve got priorities right now.

“It is a blessing, I’m very happy but we’ve got more three games and we need to win those and hopefully get a playoff berth.’’

Chubb has been one of premier pass rushers in the league currently ranked fifth in the league while being first among rookies. He has been a game-changing talent for the franchise coming off the edge. His play complimented by Miller has helped the Broncos put forth one of the top 1-2 punches defensively in the league.

His play has helped elevate the Broncos to possess one of the better defenses in the NFL that is anchored by the play of their defensive line. Chubb has a chance to add to his breakout rookie campaign as he has to surpass Jevon Kearse all-time rookie mark of 14.5 sacks in a single season.

Beyond that, it is clear that Chubb is a game-changing talent that has a bright future ahead of him in Denver.
