Per ABC's Troy Renck, former Denver Broncos star Champ Bailey will be elected into the pro-football Hall of Fame.

Champ Bailey is one of the best cornerbacks of the generation.

When asked last fall if he would attend the ceremonies, Bailey made it clear that he would be there. In recent years some players haven't shown up to their ceremony. Terell Owens did not when he was chosen. However, Bailey has made it quite clear he will be honored. It was his dream to be inducted into Canton.

Bailey told the Talk of Fame network:

“It is definitely a dream of mine, to be in the Hall of Fame. It definitely was a goal of mine, when started playing. I will just let the process play out at this point…If I am lucky enough to be voted in I definitely plan on being there. It is a no-brainer for me to be there… I objectively think I should be a first-ballot Hall of Famer, but it is not up to me at this point.”

Bailey was an absolute lock to make the Hall.

After being drafted as the No. 7 overall pick in the 1999 NFL Draft out of Georgia, Bailey was a three-time First-Team All-Pro, two-time Second-Team All-Pro, NFL 2000s All-Decade Team, and Denver Broncos 50th Anniversary Team selection. He was one of the league's premier cover corners for over a decade.

For his entire career, he had 908 tackles, three sacks, 174 pass defenses, 52 interceptions, and seven forced fumbles over 15 seasons. His 12 Pro Bowl selections are the most ever for a cornerback.
