When the Denver Broncos brought in Case Keenum this offseason John Elway made it clear he was their guy for the time being. That being said, he only signed a two-year contract so the Broncos do have a pretty quick out if he does struggle with his new team.

With the Broncos having the Number 5 pick in Thursday's NFL draft there has been a lot of speculation about who they will target. One of the options is taking a quarterback and sitting him behind Case Keenum and then when his contract is up, he could take over.

One guy who isn't a fan of that plan is Chris Harris Jr. who made it very clear that he believes the Broncos need to go in a different direction.

The Broncos do have a good roster and the one thing that really held them back last year was the play of the quarterback. Last year they finished with a record of 5-11, but a lot of the same defense is still there from the team that finished with a 9-7 record a few years ago.

If the Broncos front office believes that Case Keenum can really improve the roster this year, you would have to believe that they would go along the same lines of thinking of Chris Harris Jr. Get a player that contribute now and get the Broncos back to the playoffs.
