The Denver Broncos shocked the NFL world on Tuesday, trading for future Hall of Fame quarterback Russell Wilson. Denver has long been in search of an elite quarterback, arguably since the legend John Elway retired in the late 1990's. It appears as though they finally have what they have been looking for, and Las Vegas noticed. The odds that the Denver Broncos win Super Bowl LVII changed quite a bit.

The Broncos odds jumped from +2200 to only +1200 to win Super Bowl LVII. Their odds were practically cut in half with the acquisition of Wilson, understandably so. Essentially, if you bet $100 on Denver to win the Super Bowl, you will get back $1300, instead of the $2300 prior to the trade.

Wilson has already won one Super Bowl in his career, and nearly won another if not for Malcolm Butler. Of course, many put that loss on Pete Carroll and don't give credit where it's arguably due.

The Broncos odds of winning the AFC West jumped even more considerably. They are now listed at +260 to win the division. They Broncos were a crazy long shot prior to the trade. That is obviously because Patrick Mahomes, Justin Herbert and Derek Carr are the other three quarterbacks in the division. Now, the Broncos have an elite level signal caller who can match them.
