New Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson has had many accomplishments in his career. Super Bowl Champion, Walter Payton Man of the Year, and many other accolades define who the veteran signal-caller is.  Broncos offensive tackle Garett Bolles added to that definition on Thursday, with some high praise and GOAT-worthy comparisons.

“You talk about some of the greatest athletes—Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Michael Jordan—the type of mentalities those athletes have—that’s what he has.” Bolles would glowingly say about Wilson. “He’s so focused all the time, ready to rock and roll, and it’s what we needed here.”

The comments come just weeks after Russell Wilson was traded to the Broncos from the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for multiple first-round picks, tight end Noah Fant, and quarterback Drew Lock. A high price to pay for a Super Bowl-winning quarterback, but with an immediate return on investment if you ask Garett Bolles. Having your name mentioned among some of the all-time greats in not only basketball but sports as a whole is indicative of the impact Wilson is already making.

Other Broncos players have also chimed in on that impact, with other comments coming from players like Cortland Sutton.

“You all can feel it, we all can feel it,” Sutton said. “The juice is just different. . . . Knowing that we have a guy that has been at the top of that mountain before, has won a Super Bowl before, does know what it’s like to be at the highest level and lead his team to the Super Bowl.”
