LeBron James currently plays for the Los Angeles Lakers and is widely considered one of the greatest NBA players of all time. A four-time champion, four-time MVP, two-time Olympic gold medalist and 19-time All-Star, James in 2023 became the all-time leading scorer in NBA history. James was born on December 30, 1984 in Akron, Ohio, and became a high school superstar who donned the cover of Sports Illustrated at age 16. He was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the No. 1 pick in the 2003 NBA Draft, spending his first seven years with the franchise before leaving for the Miami Heat in 2010. James won two championships with Miami (2012, 2013) in a four-year span before returning to Cleveland in 2014, where he led the Cavs to the 2016 NBA title. James left the Cavaliers in 2018 for the Lakers, where he won his fourth championship in 2020. Off the court, James is known for his philanthropic work, activism, and business ventures. He is married to Savannah James and has three kids: Bronny, Bryce and Zhuri. His net worth is estimated at $1 billion.
