In the first round of this year's draft, the Denver Broncos added a promising talent to their defensive line with the selection of former NC State standout defensive end Bradley Chubb.

This has immediately put him in place to pair up alongside All-Pro defensive end Von Miller to form one of the league's most formidable duos of pass rushers. According to Zac Stevens of BSNDever, Miller has already voiced that he is hoping to take a mentor role with Chubb in a similar fashion to what DeMarcus Ware did during his time in Denver a few years back.

Miller could quickly prove to be a strong source of mentorship given that he has become of the best players at his position over the last several years that has him on pace to be a sure-fire Hall of Famer. The 29-year-old has been one of the most productive edge rushers in the league for much of his first seven seasons earning six Pro Bowl selections, three First-Team All-Pro nods, three Second-Team All-Pro selections, a Super Bowl MVP award, and NFL Defensive Player of the Year.

Chubb has shown to be a possible game-changing talent at the next level that could be a highly effective factor against the pass and run. In the 2017 season, he finished second in the nation with 26 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, two pass deflections, and three forced fumbles. This helped him earn a First-Team All-American nod, a First-Team All-ACC selection while winning the Hendricks award that is given to the best defensive end in the country, and the Bronko Nagurski award that is handed to the best overall defender.

This could all have the making of the Broncos having yet another dominant duo at defensive end with two premier pass rushers anchoring what could be another stout defensive unit next season.
