It didn't take long for Drew Lock to make a good impression in his regular season debut. By the end of the first quarter of his bout with the Los Angeles Chargers, the Denver Broncos rookie quarterback already had two touchdown tosses to his name.

Both touchdowns went to the top option in the Broncos' offense, second-year wide-out Courtland Sutton. After a pick by the Broncos defense, Lock led a six-play, 18-yard drive to find Sutton for a five-yard touchdown. Watch below.

Lock navigates the pocket then throws a beautiful toss to Sutton on third-and-goal. By the end of the first quarter, he had gone 9- for-13 passing for 73 yards and the two scores.

The Broncos waited awhile to give Lock playing time as they helped him develop into an NFL quarterback while he recovered from a thumb injury. It seems as if the wait was worth it for those in Denver.
