Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield has had a spectacular rookie campaign, and next Sunday, he can make it even better.

After throwing three touchdown passes in the Browns' win over the Cincinnati Bengals this past weekend, Mayfield needs just three more to pass Peyton Manning and Russell Wilson for the most touchdown tosses by a first-year signal-caller in NFL history, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.

On the year, Mayfield has thrown for 3,349 yards, 24 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions while completing 64.6 percent of his passes and registering a passer rating of 95.1.

He has also completely turned around a Browns franchise that had been languishing for the better part of two decades.

With the win over the Bengals, Cleveland improved to 7-7-1 on the year. It will head on the road to take on the Baltimore Ravens next week, and if it can come away with a win, it will mark its first winning season since 2007.

Not only that but if the Browns do emerge victorious, they can potentially knock the Ravens out of the playoffs, as Baltimore could clinch the AFC North division with a win or find itself out of the postseason altogether with a loss.

Cleveland's season took a turn for the better after a midseason coaching change, as the Browns fired Hue Jackson and replaced him with Gregg Williams. Since then, Cleveland has gone 5-2 and has won three straight and five of its last six.

Prior to this year, the Browns had won four games combined between 2015 and 2017.
