Earlier this week, there were rumors that were being floated around that the Cleveland Browns could trade Odell Beckham Jr. to the Minnesota Vikings. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Cleveland hasn't had any discussions this offseason about trading Beckham.

The rumors involving the Vikings and Beckham were quickly refuted, with multiple people denying the legitimacy of it. Still, that led to the media and fans alike to believe that the Browns could be shopping Beckham before the 2020 season.

Beckham's first season in Cleveland was far from what was expected when they acquired him a trade with the New York Giants last offseason. Early in training camp, Beckham would suffer a groin injury. That same groin injury would linger throughout the 2019 season, causing him to undergo surgery this offseason.

While adjusting with the Browns, Beckham finished with 74 receptions for 1,035 yards and four touchdowns in 2019. His 74 receptions and 1,035 yards in 2019 were the lowest marks in his career. As the season rolled along, Beckham seemingly grew frustrated with his role in Cleveland and Freddie Kitchens.

Nevertheless, the Browns fired Kitchens, replacing him with Kevin Stefanski earlier this offseason. With a new GM and head coach in place, Cleveland is keen on keeping Beckham on the roster. At the same time, Beckham has exclaimed his excitement to work with Stefanski next season.

Since the end of the 2019 campaign, there has been an endless amount of articles created that pertain to a trade involving Beckham. Seeing that the Browns haven't entertained any offers for him, those articles can be put to rest —for now.
