The first career NFL start for Chicago Bears rookie quarterback Justin Fields was quite a lackluster one thanks to Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett.

Fields simply had a difficult time in getting into a groove against the Browns, as he was sacked nine times and recorded a lowly six completions.

Garrett had a field day today, as the two-time Pro Bowler caused havoc with relative ease against a sluggish Bears offensive line.

Garrett totaled for six QB hits and 4.5 sacks in this key clash with the Bears. The 4.5 sacks for Garrett in this game set one impressive Browns franchise record.

Coming into this game, Garrett had only posted one career game with at least three sacks recorded, which came during the 2019 matchup against the New York Jets when he notched three sacks.

Now, Garrett not only holds the new Browns record for sacks in a game, but he also currently leads the NFL in sacks this season with 5.5.

Overall, Garrett sure continues to make a case to be the top pass rusher in the sport today. More so, this performance has well once again proved that the Browns have one of the more daunted front sevens in the NFL.
