There are no two ways about it. The San Francisco 49ers absolutely smacked the Cleveland Browns on Monday Night Football to cap off an eventful Week 5 slate in the NFL. With the 49ers improving to a perfect 4-0 in the process, San Francisco defeated the now 2-3 Browns by the score of 31-3.

As a result of Monday evening's thrashing at the hands of the 49ers, Browns defensive back Damarious Randall was quick to admit that his team received a thorough beating on the road in San Francisco.

“I mean, flat out they just stuffed it up our a–, man,’’ Randall said after the team's most recent loss, via Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. “I mean, they just played tougher than we did. Each week is different because last week we were facing a different type of running game and this week we faced obviously not a running quarterback but a pretty good running game.

“They just played harder than we did. They converted a lot of third downs. They kept drives alive, they got turnovers, and we didn’t. Simple as that. We’ve obviously got to get better and find a way.”

Prior to coming up way short against the 49ers, the Browns two wins in the team's last three games after losing to the Tennessee Titans to open the 2019-20 campaign. As it stands today, the Browns have lost to the 49ers, Titans, and Los Angeles Rams in addition to beating both the New York Jets and rival Baltimore Ravens.
