Baker Mayfield raised a lot of eyebrows with his recent comments to GQ, but one person who doesn't seem to care is head coach Freddie Kitchens.

Kitchens told the media he doesn't care the backlash that comes from that story or anything else that has been said this offseason.

“We don’t care,” Kitchens said, via Tony Grossi of ESPN 850 in Cleveland. “We don’t care. It’s already on there, so it doesn’t matter. We’ll be ready to play.

“I don’t know what a bulls-eye is. Anybody know? If they’re not trying to beat our ass and we’re not trying to beat their ass, I don’t know what else you do. Because that’s what we’re gonna try to do. Hopefully they’ll try to do the same.”

Kitchens thinks that this is what happens during the offseason with big things being made out of comments. Kitchens thinks one the regular season rolls around the team is going to be ready to play and have success on the field.

“I’m not worried about our team,” Kitchens said. “Our team’s gonna block out the noise. You guys create noise, they’re gonna block it out.”

Hopefully, Kitchens is right about the team being able to block out the noise because there will still be plenty of it during the regular season.

Even without the comments that have been made this offseason, the Browns had a big bullseye on their back and the chatter around the team has only increased with some of the comments made the last few weeks.
