Following a failed two-point conversion in an eventual loss to the Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was spotted in a verbal exchange with his head coach, Freddie Kitchens.

Beckham threw his helmet before the verbal exchange and pointed to the field during the discussion. Following the game, the star wide-out downplayed the situation, saying they “were just talking” after officials said something to him following a touchdown reception.

The refs making calls,” Beckham said, via WKYC.com. “Basically, they were warning me that if I had one more personal foul, then I would be out of the game, which I thought was pretty stupid. I got a personal foul for a celebration I’ve done all year. It’s not like a player was in front of me or anybody was. It was very unintentional. It is what it is.”

It appears as if Beckham's frustration stemmed from the officiating. He earned a warning after performing a dance he usually tends to do. Kitchens seems to be agreeing with Beckham in the downplaying of the situation. He stated that the verbal argument came from himself and the Ravens.

“I think it was something dealing with one of their guys. It wasn't the [2-point conversion] call,” Kitchens said. “I don't think it was a big deal. There was some frustration on how they were treating him.”

Nonetheless, the Browns failed to win, in turn, ending their slim playoff hopes. In the loss, Beckham tallied four receptions for 44 yards and a touchdown.
