The Cleveland Browns have the best wide receiving corps in the league based on sheer talent, according to Josh Gordon. But if they’re to live up to that lofty title, he’ll most likely need to be unstoppable or pretty close to it.

New teammate Jarvis Landry certainly thinks Gordon is capable of doing just that. Landry has been impressed with what he’s seen from the 27-year-old and believes that with more improvements to the finer points of his game, there won’t be anything opposing defenses can do to contain him.

“The size that he has and his ability to be able to get in and out of cuts, I think that’s one of the most impressive things I’ve recognized and noticed about him,” Landry told Jim Rome. “The more he continues to hone in on that and grow as far as in route running, listen, the kid’s unstoppable,” Landry said.

Gordon has already shown to everyone just how high his ceiling is. He went off for 1,646 yards-the 13th highest total for a single season in NFL history-on 87 catches with nine touchdowns in 2013. And he did so in just 14 games and with less-than-stellar quarterbacks.

Gordon should have significantly better quarterback play this season with new starter Tyrod Taylor, whom Landry has also praised recently. If Gordon can show that he’s put all the substance-abuse problems that cost him the past two seasons behind him, he could very well get back to being the unstoppable force that took the league by storm five years ago.
