When the Cleveland Browns signed Kareem Hunt during the offseason, many wondered how the backfield pairing between him and Nick Chubb would work.

Of course, we wouldn't get to see it until Hunt served his eight-game suspension, but now, Hunt is entering his third game with the Browns, and while it's still a bit early to judge him, Chubb thinks special things are in store for the tandem:

“Yeah, I think so. We are just getting started like you said,” said Chubb, per Jeff Risdon of Browns Wire. “The sky is the limit with what we can do with us in the backfield and us on the field at the same time. I just look forward to each week going out there and playing with another great player.”

In two games, Hunt has carried the ball 10 times for 42 yards while logging 13 catches for 90 yards.

Chubb has gotten the vast majority of the touches between the two thus far, as he tallied a total of 47 carries over those two contests, but Cleveland has been using Hunt more in the passing game, which was somewhat expected given Hunt's receiving chops.

As for what Chubb thinks about the workload and how things have gone thus far?

“We have only played two games with it so I am not sure,” Chubb said. “I know Pittsburgh definitely schemed for it and did some good things against it, but as far as we know, we want to keep playing.”

Chubb has been one of the best running backs in football this season, as he has racked up 1,011 yards and six touchdowns while averaging five yards per carry. It should be interesting to see how Hunt complements him moving forward.

The Browns are 4-6 and will take on the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
