Cleveland Brows quarterback Baker Mayfield has been fantastic all season, especially after the Browns decided to make a coaching change. Interim head coach Gregg Williams and offensive coordinator Freddie Kitchens have helped Mayfield succeed and the rookie quarterback looks every part of a first overall pick.

Mayfield has played at a very high level in the second half of the season, as you can somewhat see from the Pro Football Focus numbers above. It goes back to the coaching and play calling. Kitchens is calling plays that don't force Mayfield into bad situations and the offense has used rookie running back Nick Chubb a lot more effectively to take pressure off of Mayfield's arm.

The Browns have found themselves ahead in many situations in the second half of the season and although the defense has stepped up mightily, Mayfield has been the glue holding the team together.

Mayfield has accumulated 3,065 yards and has thrown for 21 touchdowns. Another impressive aspect of Mayfield's second half is his ability to make less mistakes with the football. Aside from an uncharacteristic game against the Houston Texans in which he threw three interceptions, Mayfield only has two other interceptions since Week 9 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Mayfield looks primed for success heading into his sophomore season, although the Browns do have a slim chance at making the postseason in 2018. As long as the Browns continue to provide their young quarterback with tools for success and a game plan that will help him grow as a player, he'll have a very long and successful career.
