When Tom Brady announced his official retirement early in February, NFL icon Peyton Manning apparently sent him some gifts. Now that Brady decided to return to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, though, Manning wants his gifts back.

In his recent appearance at The Mint Collective, Manning shared how he sent a letter and a wine to Brady right after he retired. While the two were rivals on the field, they have remained good friends. For what it's worth, the letter that Manning sent to Brady isn't just a short note but a long one–probably as a way to welcome him retirement and reminisce their days playing against each other.

But since Brady did a U-turn and decided to un-retire to play for the Buccaneers once again, Manning joked that he wants his sentimental thoughts and his wine returned.

But hey, who can blame Peyton Manning? He is probably just as surprised as a lot of people when Tom Brady opted to come back 40 days into retirement. Given that he's a man of commitment who do things as planned and after saying he can no longer give that same competitive mentality that he had throughout the years, it certainly came as a shocker that he unretired.

Or perhaps he wants his gifts back because Brady poked fun at him after he joined Instagram? Since the two are as competitive as ever, we are not complete ruling out this reason.
