Nothing can change Rob Gronkowski's mind when it comes to retirement. Even if the Tampa Bay Buccaneers make a championship run in 2022 and Tom Brady comes calling to ask him for help, he wouldn't play football professionally again.

Of course Gronk would pick up the phone and talk to Brady. However, he emphasized he's done with football and would simply show support to his former team and good friend.

“Obviously I’ll answer [the call]. It’s the greatest of all time calling me. We have a great relationship, on and off the field. We’re friends. … But I wouldn’t go back to football. I’m all set. I’m enjoying what I’m doing, and I’m enjoying trying to find what I really, really want to do next,” Gronkowski said, via ESPN.

Rob Gronkowski's girlfriend Camille Kostek recently shared the possibility of the superstar tight end unretiring and returning to the Buccaneers. After all, she feels like “him and Tom [Brady] are just having fun, like, ‘retired, not retired, retired, not retired.'”

“I am an honest lady, and honestly, I don’t feel like this one is the forever one,” Kostek said.

However, it certainly looks the 33-year-old Gronk is adamant about staying retired from the game of football this time around. As he mentioned, he's trying to figure out what he wants to do next, a journey that he looks excited to take as he avoids calling himself a retiree.

Of course things can still change and Gronk might only be feeling this way today. But for now, fans shouldn't really get their hopes up about the TE going back for one more season.
