Another Super Bowl for Tom Brady and another score for Rob Gronkowski. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end scored the first touchdown of the game to give the team a 7-3 lead toward the end of the first quarter.

After each team went three-and-out, the Kansas City Chiefs got on the board first with a 49-yard field goal by Harrison Butker.

Brady then led a Buccaneers drive down the field that capped off with an eight-yard touchdown to Rob Gronkowski, giving Tom his first-ever first-quarter touchdown in the history of all the Super Bowls he's appeared in. Gronk also set a record and moved to second all-time for Super Bowl touchdowns–behind only Jerry Rice.

Leonard Fournette had four carries on the drive, including the first three. Meanwhile, Antonio Brown and Cameron Brate also caught passes before Brady found Gronk in the endzone.

The Buccaneers failed to score in their previous two drives, but some big plays by Brown and Brate got them within striking distance.

The Brady-Gronk connection is unheralded and shouldn't be a surprise, as they have done it countless times during their stint with the New England Patriots.

The Buccaneers search for their first Super Bowl win since 2003, and the first with Brady after he spent the entirety of his career with the Patriots. As the first quarter cameto a close, the high-scoring affair everybody expected has screeched to a 7-3 lead for the Bucs.
