Bucs QB Tom Brady and Pats coach Bill Belichick have a long storied history together. Now, facing each other for the first time in each other's career, one would expect the two to share a moment together after the game.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New England Patriots faced off in Week 4, marking Brady's first appearance in Boston since leaving for the Bucs. After the game, cameras were quick to look for interactions between Brady and his former Patriots coach. And yes, we did get one… but it wasn't what we quite expected it to be. (via NFL)

A short, barely even a second hug is the least expected interaction between one of the most legendary quarterback-coach duos in NFL history. Brady and Belichick have gone through a lot together, forming the backbone of the Patriots dynasty that won seven Super Bowls between 2001 – 2019. However, after a sudden exit from the Pats to join the Buccaneers(a move that Brady seems to enjoy today), it seems like the two have drifted apart.

Of course, not everything can be gleaned from a one-second interaction. There's more to the Brady-Belichick relationship that this hug. For all we know, this is just how Belichick goes, and we're all misunderstanding the situation here. But the optics of the situation look a little frosty.
