Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady had the motivation to be great ever since he was a kid. In fact, he saw himself being a star and dominating the NFL.

Brady revealed as much in a promo video of his upcoming ESPN+ documentary titled “Man In The Arena.” In the teaser that showed old clips of Brady and testimonials from teammates and people close to him, the Buccaneers superstar also revealed his prediction when he was young that has already come true.

“When I was a kid growing up I said: ‘One day, I'm going to be a household name,” Brady said in the video.

Of course it didn't come easy for Tom Brady. The 44-year-old quarterback was drafted 199th overall in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft. With that said, it's easy to assume there were no massive expectations on him that he'd be a legendary quarterback–let alone be in the GOAT conversation.

However, Brady defied the odds and continues to show that he is the best QB that has ever graced the NFL. If his seven Super Bowl rings are not enough proof, then five Super Bowl MVPs, three NFL MVPs, and 14 Pro Bowl Selections should add more to his case.

Brady has certainly fulfilled his prediction and promise to be a household name. Now, everyone knows him and the future generations of footballers will certainly continue to mention the name of the Buccaneers leader and former New England Patriots QB when discussing the greats of American football.
