The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are preparing for a Wild Card round clash with the Philadelphia Eagles this week. The Eagles are a familiar foe for quarterback Tom Brady, who was defeated by Philadelphia in the 2018 Super Bowl while still a member of the New England Patriots.

Among the many defining plays from that Super Bowl against the Eagles involved Brady, who dropped a pass on an attempted trick play by the Patriots. In an appearance on the SiriusXM podcast Let's Go, Brady was asked about the blunder against the Eagles and confirmed what we suspected all along.

That's hilarious. The Buccaneers star doesn't even need to think of the play because if he ever so much as forgets it for a second, there will be an Eagles fan somewhere to remind him.

Brady is lucky that the Buccaneers' upcoming matchup with the Eagles will be played in Tampa, as he likely would have had to endure replays of him dropping passes on the Philadelphia scoreboard, as well as jeering fans holding signs with him dropping the football.

Brady and the Buccaneers are hoping to defend their title and put behind the entire fiasco involving controversial wide receiver Antonio Brown.

With the dropped pass not far from his mind, Brady jokingly alluded to running the trick play again on Sunday against the Eagles. It wouldn't be surprising to see that happen.

It's also not surprising to hear what he said about the infamous dropped pass: He still hears it from Eagles fans.
