Tom Brady is yet to play a snap of football for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but it seems like he's planning on staying with the team for quite a while. His circle is already working on getting a relevant trademark for the latest chapter in his already-legendary career.

Zack Cox of NESN reported that his team is looking to trademark the ‘TB x TB' phrase for his personal branding. It's a smart move that points to Brady's plans on totally maximizing his time in sunny Tampa Bay with the Buccaneers.

“Yee & Dubin Sports, Brady’s longtime representatives, filed an application to trademark the phrase ‘TB x TB’ on March 20, according to a document published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. The trademark was filed on a 1b basis, which signifies an intent to use for commerce.

“The filing states the trademark is sought for use on ‘Clothing, namely, shirts, t-shirts, pants, shorts, sweatshirts, sweaters, jerseys, sleepwear, athletic tops and bottoms, and headwear.’“

This sounds great for Buccaneers fans, as it seems Brady is fully committed to playing in Tampa. The trademark of the phrase is just one of the many things TB12 will do to root himself in Tampa for the foreseeable future.

The fans are equally excited to see him play. While he was disappointing during his final year with the New England Patriots, Brady posted impressive numbers of 4,057 passing yards and 24 touchdowns. They can expect those numbers to increase as he has terrific weapons in Chris Godwin and Mike Evans.

These are exciting times for Buccaneers, and it can go nowhere but up at this point.
