Tampa Bay Buccaneers star Tom Brady sucked it up on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins after suffering what appeared to be a painful hand injury during the game. He went on to finish the contest but he was seen icing his right hand on the bench.

In the postgame press conference after leading the Buccaneers to their fourth win with a 45-17 annihilation of the Dolphins, Brady was seen with his right hand wrapped up. He made a self-deprecating remark about his situation but was non-committal on his status for Week 6 (via Heavy).

“Yeah in my younger days I probably (would have) never showed you guys that I wrapped it up, because I’d probably try to keep it a secret, but I think in my old age I don’t care as much. Yeah, I mean it’s just a kind of a football injury. So, do my best you know to get ready for this game. We’ll see what happens.”

It didn't seem like Brady was bothered by the injury at all. He threw for 411 yards, highlighted by five touchdowns. As absurd as it sounds, it was his first-ever game with 400-plus yards and five TDs. Not bad at all for the 44-year-old Buccaneers star.

Brady won't have the luxury of a long rest as the Buccaneers return to the field on Thursday against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6.
