The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been at the top of the league since Tom Brady's arrival. He hasn't been there long, but the future Hall of Fame quarterback keeps breaking franchise records for this organization. On Sunday, Brady broke a record that was previously held by Jameis Winston.

According to ESPN Stats & Info, Tom Brady surpassed Jameis Winston's franchise record for most passing yards in a single season for the Buccaneers. The previous record was held at 5,109 yards and Brady broke that in the first half of Tampa Bay's Week 18 matchup.

It's an impressive feat, even though Brady broke the record thanks to the extra game added to the regular season. Even so, Tom Brady's age makes this record that much more impressive. The ageless wonder continues to make waves very late into his career. As long as the GOAT is under center, the Buccaneers will have a fighting chance in the playoffs.

Jameis Winston was a mediocre quarterback during his tenure with the Buccaneers, but he lit up the field nearly every year. Winston was always throwing for a ton of yards, touchdowns, and interceptions. The turnovers are what did him in and are why Tom Brady replaced him as the starting quarterback.

We'll see how this year's postseason run plays out for the Buccaneers. The abrupt departure of Antonio Brown has hurt this team in more ways than one. With Chris Godwin out for the year and Mike Evans banged up, Tampa Bay's receiving core is rather thin. Keep an eye on this franchise as they have an uphill climb in the playoffs.
