The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are currently taking on the Philadelphia Eagles during Wildcard Weekend. It should be a great game, as Tom Brady seeks his eighth Super Bowl title of his career. However, it might be difficult to outplay Philadelphia after a key offensive lineman fell to injury.

According to Dov Kleiman, Buccaneers' starting left tackle Tristan Wirfs is questionable to return. He had his right ankle rolled up, then a couple of plays later had to be helped off the field. Luckily he wasn't carted off, so there is a chance Wirfs returns later in the game.

To make matters worse, Pro Bowl center Ryan Jensen has also fallen to injury, per James Palmer. That's two elite offensive linemen questionable to return to the Buccaneers lineup.

This is not ideal for the Buccaneers or Tom Brady. Wirfs has been an excellent left tackle throughout his early career and is a vital piece to Tampa Bay's offense. Simultaneously, Jensen has been one of the most consistent centers in the league. Losing them could be the difference-maker in this matchup, as the Eagles aim to advance in the 2022 NFL playoffs.

For now, Wirfs and Jensen are questionable to return but it's not great they've fallen to injury. This franchise is dealing with injuries at the wrong time, as this could impact their Super Bowl hopes this year. We'll see if they can return to the Buccaneers lineup, however, Tampa Bay shouldn't put all 0f their eggs into that basket.

We'll see how it all plays out, as the Buccaneers won't go down without a fight. With Tom Brady under center, this team will be in the race no matter what. Even so, this is an opportunity for the Eagles to take advantage of any possible mismatches within the front seven.

At the very least, Wirfs has officially returned to the sideline, per David J. Chao.

Although that's true, the Buccaneers might be using him as an emergency backup. Luckily for Tampa Bay, it appears as though Ryan Jensen has returned. Tristan Wirfs remains on the sideline though.
