Tom Brady is once again a Super Bowl champion, as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers dominated the Kansas City Chiefs by a score of 31-9 on Sunday night at Raymond James Stadium.

The Buccaneers trailed 3-0 in the first quarter, but after a Rob Gronkowski touchdown catch from Brady, they never looked back. Gronk scored again in the second quarter, and Antonio Brown caught a one-yard TD right before the half to give them a 21-6 halftime lead.

The Chiefs came out and scored a field goal on the opening drive of the second half, but the Bucs answered right back with a 74-yard touchdown drive capped off with a Leonard Fournette score.

Brady was simply too good for the Buccaneers, and the defense swarmed Patrick Mahomes time and time again. The young QB finished with just 26 completions on 49 attempts for 270 and no scores–with two interceptions.

The much-anticipated matchup of Mahomes and Brady was the talk of the town for the past couple of weeks, and for good reason. Unfortunately for Mahomes, the Buccaneers played ferociously on defense, and Brady and Gronk were once again a deadly duo when it mattered most.

Brady joined the Buccaneers in free agency in the offseason after spending the entirety of his career with the New England Patriots. For what it's worth, only a couple of teams called for the services of Brady.

The defense did a fantastic job for Tampa Bay and limited Mahomes, Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce. Moreover, Brady once again played well on the game's biggest stage to get his seventh Lombardi Trophy.

In what was thought to be a high-scoring affair, Todd Bowles and the Tampa Bay defense frustrated Mahomes all game, and the loss of Eric Fisher was too much for this Chiefs offensive line to overcome.

Tom Brady did what he went to Tampa Bay to do, and after saying he wants to play until he's 45 years old, more championships might be on the way for the Buccaneers.
