In theory, stopping Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo is relatively simple. He can't shoot that well, and his handles are solid but not super tight or advanced. Just put up a wall and pray right?

Wrong:

Watching Giannis Antetokounmpo play basketball is like watching a lion hunt. You see it, you know it's there, you know what it's going to do. It's a lion. But on most days, you simply cannot stop the lion from tearing you to shreds. If you're unfamiliar with the sensation, just ask CJ McCollum after the first half of this clip.

To quote the commentator: “Got by Giannis…heh…but he didn't beat Giannis.”

Seriously, it seems like Giannis and the Bucks have been forgotten in the conversation, both for MVP and as Finals contenders from the Eastern Conference. Sure, Joel Embiid is cool and all, but guess who's healthier, bouncier, and faster than Embiid?

Just look at Giannis play. If his 28.3 PPG, 11.4 RPG, and 6.3 APG on 55% shooting don't impress you, just sit down and take in these ten seconds. Because these ten seconds are basketball beauty personified. There is a glory and terror that comes when Giannis and the Milwaukee Bucks go on a fast break, especially if you're the Portland Trail Blazers. You can't help but stare as Antetokounmpo just swallows the gimme layup of your second-best scorer after getting beaten, then casually jog down to turn on the jets and bring the rim down on your head. In fact, let's look at it again:

Good lord. There are maybe three to five players in the league that have a hope of stopping the Bucks star when he has any sort of downhill speed. None of them are on the Portland Trailblazers.

If nothing else, this display of raw athleticism and power has got to remind fans of who what Giannis Antetokounmpo is. He is the Greek Freak, and he is a permanent, card-holding member of the MVP race.
