Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is just one of the many NBA personalities that have sung praises for Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James after recently leading the opening of his I Promise School in his native of Akron, Ohio.

Antetokounmpo took to Twitter to express his admiration towards James, sharing how he sees the three-time NBA champion as an exemplar both on and off the court.

We could not agree more with Giannis' sentiments here. What James has accomplished is truly something that is beyond admirable. Moreover, like Antetokounmpo, we also hope that this feat serves as a motivation not only for the entire NBA but the rest of the world, to give back, especially to disadvantaged.

Antetokounmpo has good reasons when he says that he sees James as a role model on the basketball court. For his part, the 23-year-old from Greece is definitely letting his game do the talking. With his freaky combination of speed, size, and athleticism, it is not hard to compare a younger James to Antetokounmpo.

Like James, the Bucks star also entered the league at the age of 19. Last season was Antetokounmpo's fifth year, and his mind-boggling numbers — 26.9 points on 52.9 percent shooting, 10.0 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.4 blocks per game — are pretty much at par with that of James at this point in his career.

In his age-23 season, James put up 30.0 points on 48.4 percent shooting, 7.9 rebounds, 7.2 assists, 1.8 assists, and 1.1 blocks per contest.

However, in terms of achievements on the court, Antetokounmpo falls short when compared to the Lakers star at the same age. While Antetokounmpo and his Bucks have only been as far as the first round of the Playoffs, James already had his first taste of the NBA Finals, despite falling to the San Antonio Spurs in a four-game sweep back in 2007.

With James now in the West, the East has become pretty wide open. This leaves Antetokounmpo with the biggest opportunity of his career to date, to reach the pinnacle of the NBA.
