Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks have great news for their fans, as they are about to finally get Donte DiVincenzo back from injury. According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the former Villanova Wildcats hotshot is scheduled to make his much-awaited season debut on Wednesday when the Bucks take on the Indiana Pacers at home.

DiVincenzo went under the knife back in June to repair an injured ankle. The 24-year-old shooting guard has recently been assigned to play for the Bucks' G-League affiliate team, a truly clear sign that he is ready for competitive action.

Taken 17th overall in the 2018 NBA Draft by the Bucks, DiVincenzo had a breakout campaign last season as part of the championship Milwaukee team. That season, he averaged career-highs of 10.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 3.1 assists across 66 games. He also shot 37.9 percent from behind the arc.

Coming back from a long absence, DiVincenzo might not get heavy minutes right away upon his return to the Bucks' fold, but expect him to get a bigger workload shortly after he gets reaccustomed to the NBA atmosphere.

Before the aforementioned Pacers game, the Bucks are set to finish their current four-game road trip with stops in New York and Boston.
