The Milwaukee Bucks have dealt with their fair share of injuries early on in the 2021/22 NBA season, but they're slowly getting back to full strength. Giannis Antetokounmpo will be pleased with this latest update, too.

Donte DiVincenzo, who has been out since the first round of the playoffs, is finally returning to the court and is heading to the G-League to get some minutes. Via Jim Owczarski:

DiVincenzo tore a ligament in his ankle in the Bucks' 4-0 sweep of the Miami Heat en route to an NBA title in 2021. He eventually underwent surgery in June. The sweet-shooting guard will get much-needed reps with the Wisconsin Herd, but they don't play until December 12th. He's expected to be back with Milwaukee at some point this month.

The Villanova product was a key player for the Bucks last season, averaging 10.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 3.1 dimes per game while starting 66 games. Mike Budenholzer's squad have fared just fine without him, but his return to the rotation will undoubtedly give them a boost on both ends of the floor. DiVincenzo also shot 38% from downtown, a career-high.

The Bucks are still without Brook Lopez though, who just had back surgery. Nevertheless, they're starting to find a rhythm, going 9-1 in their last 10 games and most recently winning eight consecutive contests. The roster is starting to look more complete and with Donte DiVincenzo in the mix again, it will give Antetokounmpo another important piece to knock down shots.
