Giannis Antetokounmpo is unlikely to take the court for the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday when they take on the Atlanta Hawks in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals. However, it looks like the former back-to-back MVP could be good to go if the series goes to Game 7.

Giannis is still dealing with a lingering knee problem and the Bucks have already tagged him as doubtful for Game 6. According to NBA insider Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, however, Antetokounmpo might be available for Milwaukee if this series goes the distance:

After defeating the Hawks in Game 5 on Thursday, the Bucks now hold a 3-2 series advantage. They are just one win away from booking their spot in the NBA Finals, and they could do just that in Game 6 on Saturday. Giannis is unlikely to join his team for that pivotal matchup, so the Bucks will need to try and pull off a victory sans their superstar.

Milwaukee will want to win that game on Saturday to close out the series, but in case they don't, the good news for them is that Antetokounmpo could return to action for the final game of the series. Nothing is certain at this point, though, so it goes without saying that the Bucks will just want to get the series over and done with in Game 6.

As for the Hawks, it looks like they will also be without Trae Young for Game 6 as he continues to deal with an ankle problem, although Atlanta has yet to rule him out completely. This series has clearly taken its toll on players on both sides.
