As expected, Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo has been officially listed as doubtful for Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Atlanta Hawks.

Antetokounmpo suffered from a hyperextended left knee injury in Game 4 of the series, causing him to miss Game 5 as well. While no structural damage has been discovered in a relief for Bucks fans, it is quite clear the team is exercising  caution on their superstar.

It is still unknown if Giannis Antetokounmpo can still return to the Bucks in the series against the Hawks, or even in the whole 2021 playoffs. It is certainly good news his injury is not as it looked like when it happened, but it is still a tough injury to get back from.

For what it's worth, NBA legend Chris Bosh said recently that based on his experience with the same injury, it is unlike Giannis returns in the postseason.

While Giannis' status remains uncertain, the 26-year-old two-time MVP will surely be happy by the fact that they have a chance to close out the series in Game 6. The Bucks' sensational play in Game 5 allowed them to take the 3-2 lead, putting the team just one win away  from the NBA Finals where the Phoenix Suns are waiting.

The Bucks have proven they are still a deep team and remain a threat even without Antetokounmpo. Of course, the Hawks will look to bounce back and force a Game 7, but there is no doubt Milwaukee has all the momentum right now despite the absence of their best player.
