Kanye West just namedropped the 2021 NBA Finals MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo in his latest album and everyone is losing their minds. West's newest studio album called ‘DONDA' is set to be released on July 23 but fans from all over the globe were able to tune in to a listening party held in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Thursday where Kanye did his thing.

‘DONDA', an ode to Kanye's late mother Donda West, is the rapper's 10th album and, as always, the 44-year-old genius made sure to bring some heat. In a track called ‘Junya', West referenced the recently crowned NBA champ with a hard-hitting bar:

“Let me be honest, I run with the Bucks boy, lemme Giannis,” via (GENIUS).

That line alone is giving us some ‘old Kanye' vibes.

Obviously, everyone in the NBA world was hyped after hearing that crazy bar from one of this generation's most incredible artists. And, the fact that West seemed to have waited for the Bucks to win the championship before recording that line prior to dropping his album makes it even crazier.

Sorry, Drake. Kanye wins this round.

Giannis' name will be surely dominating the globe for the next few months. Presumably, Kanye won't be the last artist to tip their hat to the two-time MVP after Antetokounmpo finally cemented his legacy as one of the best NBA players in the league right now with a dominant performance in the 2021 NBA Finals to beat out Chris Paul and the Phoenix Suns in six hard-fought games.
