Khris Middleton powered the Milwaukee Bucks to a 151-131 victory over the Washington Wizards by way of a 51-point effort. After the game, the 28-year-old forward dedicated his performance to the late Los Angeles Lakers great Kobe Bryant.

Middleton admitted that Bryant is one of his favorite players apart from Michael Jordan, plucking several tricks from Kobe's deep offensive arsenal and including it in his own game. Moreover, back when he was still a kid, the Bucks star shared that he would stay up late just to watch Bryant's games.

During the Bucks' game with the Wizards, it was noticeable that Middleton's teammates were constantly setting him up on offense. The one-time All-Star forward took advantage of it and just kept on shooting.

Khris Middleton's performance is just among the many strong outings dedicated to Bryant.

On Sunday, the day that Kobe died in a tragic helicopter crash with his daughter Gianna Bryant and seven others, Portland Trail Blazers star guard Damian Lillard dropped 50 points to lead his team past the Indiana Pacers.

Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker, whose perimeter mastery has often been compared to that of Bryant, dropped 36 points on Sunday. And Trae Young, who's one of Gigi's favorite players, scored 45 points and dedicated it to the Lakers icon. Other players such as Luka Doncic wrote down Bryant's name as well as the others who died in the crash on their in-game shoes.

All NBA teams, meanwhile, have committed an eight-second backcourt violation followed by a 24-shot clock violation during the game's opening seconds. This is to honor Bryant, who wore the number 8 and 24 in his illustrious 20-year career with the Lakers franchise.
