Milwaukee Bucks All-Star swingman Khris Middleton appears to have taken advantage of his time under quarantine to work on his game. He didn't get to practice shooting hoops at all during the break. But somehow, he's apparently looking like an upgraded version of his previous self, according to Bucks teammate Kyle Korver.

Korver explained why he believes Middleton is going to be entering the upcoming season restart in prime condition:

“I’ve been super impressed with Khris,” Korver said, via Matt Velazquez of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “I think he looks great. I haven’t seen him move this explosively, change directions as well as he is right now. I think he really took advantage of his time.”

Middleton himself opened up about how he kept busy throughout the lockdown period.

“I just tried to lose a bit of weight, get stronger – that was the main thing – so I could be fully healthy, at full strength, so I could play my best basketball,” Middleton said. “That’s really what it was all about, trying to find a way to get myself to be in the best shape that I can to play.”

We've heard more than a few transformation stories among NBA players throughout the quarantine period. It was indeed a challenge to stay fit while in isolation, but it was also a great opportunity for the players to exhibit their dedication and commitment to making the most out of a rather unproductive situation. Obviously, Khris Middleton is one of those guys, and he will surely play a significant role for the Bucks moving forward.
