The Milwaukee Bucks are without question one of, if not the best team in the league today. As a matter of fact, this Bucks side is currently looking like a team that has every intention of making its mark on history. For Milwaukee co-owner Marc Lasry, the historic record he has set his eyes on is the remarkable 72-win season by the '96 Chicago Bulls. Recently, Lasry had an opportunity to chat with the great Michael Jordan during Milwaukee's matchup against the Charlotte Hornets in Paris, France. Lasry took the opportunity to tell Jordan about his extremely high hopes for the Bucks this season.

“When I was in Paris, I was talking to Michael about this and I said, ‘Well, what do you think? I think we've got a real shot at doing what you guys have done [win 70 games]. This is a really unique team,'” Larsy narrates, via Eric Woodyard of RealGM. “And he goes, ‘Look, my advice to you is don't focus on beating our record, focus on winning a championship.' And I said, ‘Wow, that's great. Thank you for that. Just so you know we're going to focus on beating your record and winning a championship.' I think we should do everything, but that's me.”

That's a pretty confident man right there, who seems to be so impressed with how his team is looking like this season. In true MJ fashion, though, the Hall of Famer could not help but take a subtle shot at Lasry, reminding him that despite their recent success, his team has yet to reach the pinnacle of the sport — an NBA championship. For the record, MJ has six chips to his name, so he is definitely an authority on the matter.
