Zach LaVine of the Chicago Bulls recently had a knee injury, but thankfully for Chicago, it was not too serious. LaVine only had to miss a few games, which was good news for the Bulls since they need him if they are to keep playing at this level for the rest of the season.

It was thought that LaVine would miss the upcoming road trip, but NBCChicago's K.C. Johnson reported that Billy Donovan stated there was a potential that he and Javonte Green might be available against the Thunder. On Monday night, the Bulls will play the Thunder in the second night of a back-to-back. On Sunday, the Bulls will face the Orlando Magic in a game that they should win despite missing a few key players.

Chicago has had a lot of success this season, but they have struggled recently, especially against some of the NBA's top teams. Many of their problems stem from the fact that they haven't been healthy versus many of the NBA's elite teams.

This is fantastic news for Chicago, but it's unfortunate that they'll now have to deal with injuries to Alex Caruso and Lonzo Ball, putting them out for at least the next six-eight weeks.

LaVine is having an All-Star caliber season as he is currently averaging 24.9 points per game. He has been a major reason why the Bulls have had so much success.
