Chicago Bulls center Robin Lopez pulled off a rare feat in Friday night's game against the Orlando Magic, and his celebration may have been even rarer.

Lopez caught a pass at the top of the key with a few minutes left in the third quarter, and while many likely expected him to make a quick pass elsewhere, he had other ideas.

Yes, the 7-0 footer who is known for his play inside the perimeter, decided to let it ride from 3-point land.

The good news? The shot went in. The even better news? Lopez gave us a celebration filled with high-quality entertainment:

Lopez had attempted just 29 total 3-pointers for his entire career entering the game and considering that he's been in the league since 2008, it's pretty obvious that it's not one of his specialties.

But it gave the Bulls a nice little boost, which led to a 90-80 victory for Chicago in this one.

Lauri Markannen led the way with an impressive 32-point outing, while Lopez finishing second in scoring with 14 points and four rebounds off the bench. Chicago held Orland to just 32.6 percent shooting from the field, which undoubtedly played a huge role in the much-needed victory.

Of course, any wins are good wins for the Bulls at this stage of the season, as they were able to improve their record to 8-25 overall.

Given all the turmoil surrounding the franchise in recent weeks, perhaps this will give the team a little confidence heading into a road matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday.
