A top LEC Jungler could be taking his talents to the NA region next year. C9's most recent import, Luka “Perkz” Perković, confirmed his former teammate's desire to move to the LCS. Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski made his name as G2 Esports' stalwart Jungler but that could all change in the next season of League of Legends.

A REUNION ON THE HORIZON

Jankos holds the distinction of having won four LEC championships and one Mid-Season Invitational with G2 Esports. Undoubtedly, the NA would be beyond lucky to add such a skilled player to their ranks. Jankos even managed to reach the finals at a League of Legends World Championship.

Currently, the EU Jungler plays his 9th season since debuting in 2013. Additionally, he talked in the past numerous times about potentially retiring as a professional player. Many players hang up their gaming mice and keyboard before truly reaching the peak of the title. Not many players hold the distinction of being a world champion but Jankos may still have a win in him. The NA region remains the only one of the five major regions in League of Legends with no world championship to speak of.

Perkz's excitement in the podcast clip is understandable since a potential reunion with his former teammate remains in the books. Perkz and Jankos managed to reach the Worlds finals with G2 so there's hope for a similar showing with Cloud9. Any number of circumstances could hinder Jankos' plans for an NA stint next year. Hopefully, NA gets its act together so the home of League of Legends can finally take home a Worlds title.
