The Arizona Cardinals have elected to rule out quarterback Kyler Murray for their Week 11 road matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, the team announced ahead of the game.

Murray has been dealing with a nagging ankle injury for the past weeks. He first suffered this sprained ankle injury during the late stages of Arizona's Week 8 encounter with the Green Bay Packers. He went on to finish the game, but the team later elected to keep him out from the Week 9 clash with the San Francisco 49ers.

At the least, Murray did make promising progress from his injury this past week, as he was limited in practice. While he was initially ruled as questionable for this NFC West showdown with the Seahawks, the Cardinals have now opted to once again take a conservative stance by deciding to sideline him for the third straight game.

In his place, backup quarterback Colt McCoy will start for the Cardinals today. He is just coming off of the one interception outing against the Carolina Panthers last week, where he anchored a mere one touchdown drive over the course of the contest.

If the Cardinals aim to maintain their one-game lead over the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC West standings, then they sure need to orchestrate an all-around performance against the Seahawks in order to come away from today with a statement road win.
