Arizona Cardinals defensive end JJ Watt is always a class act, and he showed that once again as he came to the rescue of a fan who was in dire need of money.

On Wednesday, a Twitter user who goes by the handle @JSimpson2014 took to Twitter to sell a pair of JJ Watt's women edition Reebok shoes, as well as his Texans jersey. Simpson said she's only selling because she and her family are trying to raise funds for the funeral of their grandfather.

Upon seeing the tweet, Watt responded and said Simpson doesn't need to sell her things to raise funds. He then promised to help in the funeral before sending his sympathies to the family of the bereaved.

JJ Watt has always been about giving back to the community and helping in every way he can. His gesture for Simpson and her family is just the latest in several acts of kindness he has done for fans.

Back in 2017, an 8-year-old was ran over by a truck and was crying after EMTs had to cut his Watt jersey. The then-Texans star heard the story and visited the young boy in the hospital.

There is also another case in 2020 when he gave a touching message to a super fan, who just went through emergency neurosurgery. Put simply, JJ Watt made sure to give the fan the support he needs to recover from the medical procedure.

Watt is a man of the people, and so it's not a surprise why he is beloved anywhere he goes.
