Arizona Cardinals rookie quarterback Josh Rossen is set to take the field for his first career start on Sunday afternoon against the Seattle Seahawks.

Ahead of Week 4 action, Rosen said his game hasn't been modeled after any other quarterback in the league. Rather, he believes he has his own unique skill set and tendencies, according to Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.

“I am me, and I'm not trying to model my game,” Rosen said. “I admire quarterbacks, but I don't try to emulate or act like they do. I do me.

“It's gotten me to this point, so why change?”

Rosen is a talented quarterback with a promising future ahead of him in the NFL. He was touted as being one of the best players at his position in this year's draft class thanks to a strong and accurate arm that gives him the ability to make any throw required of him at the next level. This ability led the Cardinals to move up to the 10th overall spot to take him at that spot, sending a clear-cut indication the team is hopeful he can be the long-term answer under center.

Rosen had his first appearance of the season late in the fourth quarter of last Sunday's 16-14 loss to the Chicago Bears. He completed 4-of-7 passes for 36 yards and threw an untimely interception that sealed his team's fate.

Rosen has shown plenty of confidence in his ability on the field that should bode well for his development moving forward, so he'll surely bounce back after his rough debut. He has an opportunity in front of him to show the Cardinals he can be their next franchise quarterback.
