The Arizona Cardinals were able to withstand injuries to quarterback Kyler Murray and star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins in Week 9. Looks like they're likely need to channel that same energy for their Week 10 tilt against the Carolina Panthers.

According to the latest report from NFL insider Ian Rapoport, both Murray and Hopkins are expected to miss their Sunday game. Murray is dealing with a nagging ankle injury that's been restricting his mobility, an essential part of what makes the MVP candidate such a lethal threat.

The Cardinals QB will reportedly “take it up to game-time” in a last-ditch bid to get on the field. But Colt McCoy is the expected signal-caller the team will bring out there against the Panthers, who are dealing with some QB shuffling of their own with the return of Cam Newton amid a shoulder injury to Sam Darnold.

The outlook on DeAndre Hopkins isn't as rosy as Murray's. Not only is he a probably scratch for their next game, there's also a good chance he misses out on the Cardinals' Week 11 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.

The Cardinals hold the best record in the NFL at 8-1 and have no immediate reason to rush back their stars from injury. But with the Los Angeles Rams in the same division and just one game separating them in the standings, fans can't wait to get Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins back from injury
