Boston Celtics center Al Horford is slate to play against the Golden State Warriors on Saturday, after he was a full participant in practice, according to Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated.

The big dipper missed the last game against the L.A. Clippers with what was initially thought out to be a concussion, but as it turns out, that wasn't the case, and he will not face any minute restrictions moving forward.

The Celtics are already without backup guard Marcus Smart for the next two weeks after he sustained a self-inflicted injury to his shooting hand, which will give starter Kyrie Irving a heavier minute load against the defending champions.

Terry Rozier and Shane Larkin should see similar extended roles with one of the Celtics' spark plugs off the bench out of the rotation for the near future.

Both Irving and Horford were named to the All-Star Game, though they will play on opposite teams. The 31-year-old has posted averages of 13.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 1.1. blocks per game in his second season with the team.

Horford was a catalyst in the Celtics 92-88 home win over the Warriors last year, posting a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds in a tight-scoring affair.

Boston rebounded from a four-game skid, the longest of the season, beating out the Clippers 113-102 without Horford. The team will finish out their four-game Western Conference road trip on Monday against the Denver Nuggets, coming back home to play the New York Knicks at the TD Garden.
