With the official opening of training camp less than two months away, Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens is confident that both Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward will be cleared to fully participate in said camp.

This is definitely good news for the Celtics, as they look to open the season on full strength. Their two biggest offseason acquisitions last summer barely had playing time as a duo last year. With Hayward suffering a gruesome, season-ending left leg injury in the first quarter of the team's season opener, he and Irving shared the court for a grand total of less than six minutes.

For his part, Irving was also ruled out for the remainder of the season some five months later with a knee issue, and had to watch on the sidelines as his team went on a legendary Playoffs run.

With the high of last season's heroics already a thing of the past, the Celtics are now under pressure to surpass their previous accomplishments. The return of Irving and Hayward will surely help their cause, but there are still some questions that need to be answered.

Perhaps the biggest potential issue that requires attention is team chemistry. The C's were balling without their two superstars last season, so Brad Stevens will need to proceed with caution here. How this will affect breakout studs Jayson Tatum and Terry Rozier also remains to be seen.

Then again, this is a very good problem for Stevens to have. The Celtics are in a truly envious position, and arguably, a return to the Eastern Conference Finals is theirs to lose.
