The Boston Celtics are in for a fight against the Milwaukee Bucks in the second round of the NBA playoffs. Ime Udoka's squad will have to overcome Giannis Antetokounmpo's might to reach the Eastern Conference Finals.

Slowing down Antetokunmop will take a village. The Celtics, though, have the personnel to do just that. Udoka, who coached one of the vest best defenses in the NBA this season, explained to Jared Weiss of The Athletic that the way to slow down the Greek Freak is to bring physicality right to him.

“The thing with us is meeting him with some physicality, not let him get ahead of steam and get into the paint without being touched,” Udoka said. “Like your pick-up points and your contact points to be a little bit higher than — a lot of times these guys are touching him almost at the dots or the foul circle and it’s too late by that point. So show him that crowd, there’s some things we did well during the season against him that will have some carryover, but we understand the task at hand and how he scores and when to take that away from.”

The Celtics boast numerous high-level defenders in Jayson Tatum, Grant Williams, Al Horford, Robert Williams and Derrick White. All of them are led by Marcus Smart, the Defensive Player of the Year. All these tough defenders could make Antetokounmpo's life miserable. Jaylen Brown, if his hamstring allows him to play, could also be a deterrent against the Bucks.

Slowing down Giannis Antetokounmpo is always a tough task, especially in the NBA playoffs. Ime Udoka's Celtics should be up for it.
