Javonte Green of the Boston Celtics says that he's an entertainer and throwing down flashy dunks is part of his job description.

Per Adam Himmelsbach of The Boston Globe, the former Radford University star commented on his flashy finishes.

“I look at myself as an entertainer. They paid their money to watch us play, so might as well put on a show.”

This is the 26-year-old Green's second stint in the Las Vegas Summer League. Last year, he suited up for the Phoenix Suns. In three games, he averaged 8.67 points, 2.67 rebounds, and 1.0 assist across 11.3 minutes. This year, donning the Celtics jersey, he's averaging 10.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.5 assists across 20.1 minutes.

After four years with Radford, Green declared for the2 2015 NBA Draft but was not picked. He went on to play for several teams abroad. Most recently, in the 2018-2019 season, he Ratiopharm Ulm of the Eurocup and G-BBL. Under the Eurocup, he averaged 13.87 points, 4.47 rebounds, 1.67 assists, and 2.53 steals in 15 games. Under the G-BBL, Green averaged 13.83 points, 4.81 rebounds, 1.56 assists, and 2.22 steals.

Indeed, Green has showcased his dunking arsenal in the Summer League. Will he finally get his break and ink an NBA deal?
